Challenge
The commissioning process of the marine & offshore climate control systems of Heinen & Hopman was outdated and lacked standardisation. Commissioners made their own paper forms or Excel sheets for conducting their audits, leading to errors and inefficiencies.
Solution
Together with another UX designer, I designed a tablet-first browser application to streamline the commissioning process. Through close collaboration with commissioners, thorough analysis of their workflows, and a deep understanding of their methods, we successfully extracted the essence and significance of the commissioning process, transforming it into a user-friendly digital solution.
