Challenge

The innovative tool streamlines the process of applying regulations for construction projects, offering a user-friendly alternative to the otherwise cumbersome and constantly changing regulatory landscape. Despite this improvement, the absence of UX expertise resulted in users still encountering challenges. Processes were not intuitively or efficiently set up, leading to users feeling lost in the application.

Solution

Creating a full redesign, restructuring every page with a strong focus on hierarchy to guide users effectively. I introduced overview pages to enhance a sense of navigational awareness. Additionally, this allowed me to limit the amount of information on each page to maintain user focus and reduce potential confusion. In addition to the UX designs, I incorporated a new visual design aligned with the new company branding.
